A recent study by Booking.com highlights the enduring importance of travel for individuals in the Asia-Pacific region. Despite global uncertainties, 84% of travelers reported that trips significantly contribute to their mental and emotional reset.
Furthermore, the research indicates a shift towards more deliberate travel planning. Nine out of ten individuals would prefer to adjust their itineraries rather than cancel altogether when faced with disruptions. This resilience is coupled with a growing emphasis on authentic local experiences, with 73% of travelers now prioritizing these when making their plans, alongside a focus on securing better value for their money.
